Spruce is a conifer (or conifer tree) with a conical, narrow shape that grows mainly in the forests of our mountains. In fact, it is the most common conifer in Canada! And for a good reason: fast growing, he likes everywhere, adapts to any soil and fears neither the cold nor the spring frosts.

Spruces are happy on any type of soil, with a preference for acid soils, deep and fresh. Plant them protected from the wind, in the shade or in the sun. For container spruces, sowing takes place in late fall or early spring. Those with bare roots are planted in autumn without frost. Do not cool the roots, bet, and make a sprinkler with mulching.
